It is the first time in 3 years that we have a Christmas tree in the house. And it's the first time in 3 years that we feel the magic of Christmas again. That Christmas that we waited for with a soul full of emotion and joy when we were little. That Christmas is here again after many years.

Pictured is Alma the cat who was just a kitten when she gave birth to kittens, who was separated from her kittens for a week and who suddenly lit up when we brought them near her. It was visible the moment life began to be present in her body again. The story is long, but in short, it was only after a week that we found the kittens. Now they are 4.5 months old and still sucking, and for Alma they are the greatest joy. She calls them all over the house, lets them to suck, plays and sleeps with them. Alma impressed us and showed us, not that we needed proof, but she showed us how cats can love, how important the physical and emotional bond between a mother cat and her kittens is, how mother and kitten separation can cause deep trauma. It's like that Facebook page: Animals are people too.

We wish you all a Merry Christmas filled with compassion and love! Appreciate your furry souls and give them a hug from us too! We will certainly embrace ours for you.
