About me

Hello, I'm Micul Prinț (Little Prince),

I have a lot of energy and I like to play! I like people and I would love to have some of my own. Nobody taught me good manners, but I promise to do my best if you decide to teach me.

I like to be petted and pampered. Those who know me say that my kindness can be seen in my eyes. I will be kind and loyal if you decide to take me home. I promise!

Micul Prinț is now in a private shelter. He has enough space, he has a bed full of straws, he has water and food, but it is not Home. He needs a family for which he is the only furry child and who loves him as he is: full of energy, playful, giving kisses, adoring the attention of the people he knows and trusts, but without discipline. With a lot of patience and minimal training, Micul Prinț will turn into a treasure.

The story of the Micul Prinț begins in a park. Up to a point it is the same as his brother, Zorro, and intersects with Bruno's story.

When we first saw them, they were sitting quietly in the shade next to one of the park guards, avoiding the other people. One day we asked the guard what’s about them. He told us that they had been abandoned by a man from the village who was holding them in a pen. Apparently they were restless and always dug out. We asked if they had anything to eat and he replied that he would give them bread and milk and what else he had. That's when we started coming almost daily to feed them.
Gradually Micul Prinț and Zorro approached us and let us caress them. We dewormed them and scheduled them for neuter. We could pet them, but when they saw the cage we were going to transport them in, they got scared. So we called the vet who tranquilized them from a distance. The surgery went well and in the evening we brought them back to the park. The guard kept them under observation for several days.
We continued to bring them food, and now Busuioc, the park's dog for over 8 years, and Bruno, a shy dog sitting next to him, were coming to the feast. We were feeding all four of them.
Slowly came the autumn. The dogs looked better and better, they gained confidence and started running through the park. At that moment, someone reported that they were a danger to the children running in the park, and Micul Prinț was captured and taken to the public shelter in Buftea. The same fate awaited all of them.
Micul Prinț stayed there for two weeks, during which time we visited him and looked for solutions for him. He cried every time he saw us and stuck his head against the bars to caress him. It was only then that we named him Micul Prinț (Little Prince) because we were convinced that his fate would change and he would become a prince.

Micul Prinț went through a lot. Now he is waiting with hope and joy for his family who will cherish him.

They also wrote about me here:

Zorro, Micul Prinț and Bruno are three dogs that lived near a park, but now have the chance of a good and beautiful life. Our organisation has no shelter, so we have to pay for their accommodation in a private shelter.
We need money for their maintenance and especially we need to find them adoptive families who understand their context and treat them with patience. Because that's the only way we can focus our resources on other souls who need help.
