Our purpose and objectives
Our activity is dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs.
We have a non-destruction policy, meaning we fight to the end for the life of any rescued animal, regardless of the resources of money, time and energy involved.
We are actively involved in reducing the number of unwanted cats and dogs by spaying and neutering.
As long as they are with us, the animals will receive premium food, top medical care, attention and love.
We promote the adoption of animals both in the country and abroad.
We promote animal rights, good practices and animal needs. We want to raise public awareness and education, especially in rural areas.

Urmărim continuu:
Colaborarea cu alte ONG-uri și instituții pentru protecția animalelor, cu autorități publice centrale și locale, cu mediul de afaceri și cu mass-media în vederea realizării scopului asociației.
Colaborarea cu medici veterinari, cabinete și spitale veterinare, plus alte instituții similare în vederea asigurării îngrijirii animalelor comunitare.
Colaborarea cu dresori și experți în comportamentul câinilor și al pisicilor.
Atragerea de finanțări, de resurse materiale și umane pentru realizarea scopului asociației.
How we started
The activity of Asociația Bagheera & Jacques started seriously in July 2019, when we adopted a kitten from the ditch in front of the house where we were going to move. He was then the 3rd cat in the family. Then we adopted the whole micro pack of 7 dogs (2 adults, an 11-month-old young adult and 4 puppies of about 3 weeks) from the yard of the house that was being built next to us.
Dogs and cats that needed long-term treatment and multiple visits to the vet or physiotherapist, who now have loving families in the country, Mallorca and Scotland, passed through our hands. You can read their stories here.
The association is named after Bagheera the tomcat and Jacques the dog. Find their stories here.
